Source Code Control Mappings

 

 

This panel lets you activate and enters the paths on your local file system where you want to have Source Code Controls basic integration.

Currently, the only operation which depends on these mappings to be configured is the Check-Out operation. Check-out operation is most often needed just at the time you start to type text in your editor (or you apply some patch or merge...) and as such it is very useful in Ellié Computing Merge. Other operations (such as Check-in, Undo check-out...) are generally used with a lower frequency and need a deep knowledge of each SCC tool or of your workflow to handle it (because of change lists/change sets, other parameters...).

Use New... to display the SCC Mapping Dialog Box and thus add a new mapping.
Use Modify... to display the SCC Mapping Dialog Box and thus add a new mapping.
Use Remove to remove a SCC Mapping, note, rather than removing a mapping temporarily and create it again, you can simply de-activate it by un-checking the checkbox in front of it.
