Wrap long lines

Check this option so that lines of text larger than the application window are displayed on multiple lines.

 Line wrapping is supported only in Text Edition mode for the moment. We plan to add this capability in Text Comparison in the future.

Expand tabs

Set the number of spaces a tabulation character will be expanded to. This option changes only the way the files are displayed on screen, not how they are saved or the result of a text comparison.

Encoding used to load files when auto-detection fails

Choose an encoding to use as the default character set for text files. See also  Text Input and Output dialogs.

Character encoding used to create files

Choose an encoding to use as the character set for text files created by the File / New Text File menu. By default, the native encoding for your system is selected (UTF-8 on Unix systems). See also  Text Input and Output dialogs.

Line endings

Choose the line endings style to use when creating new files with the File / New Text File  menu. By default, the native line endings for your system is selected. See also  Text Input and Output dialogs.
