Registering the software

 

 

Ellié Computing Merge requires a serial number for registration. The software will run only in Limited Evaluation Version mode without it, even when evaluating the software.

Nevertheless, it is possible to run Ellié Computing Merge with no serial number, as a limited evaluation version.
If you wish to evaluate the product with no serial number, you will be applied the following restrictions:

• for Text comparisons, only the first half of the files is loaded
• for Folder comparisons, files starting with one letter in two are excluded (a, c, e, ...)  [NB: you can still access the files using "show hidden files" options, but they won't be used inside folder comparison]

You can ask for a free 30-days Evaluation serial number from the Ellié Computing website  . It will be sent to you by email, and will allow you to fully evaluate Ellié Computing Merge with no restricted features.
Final serial numbers can be purchased on Ellié Computing website  or on other websites or catalogues.

Copy the serial number from the email you have been sent and paste it in the Register dialog box to activate your version of the software.

As all Ellié Computing softwares come with a one-year free upgrade policy and/or if you purchase a maintenance pack, you will be able to download new versions of Ellié Computing Merge during these periods. To ensure that you have the appropriate licenses, when new minor and major versions are released, you will be given a new serial number suitable for both the new version and the previous versions when you download the new versions. This serial number is provided to you in your account on our website. Bug fix releases do not require new serial numbers.
