SCC Mapping Dialog Box

 

 

This dialog box let's associate a part of your file system with a SCC repository URL.

Local Path

Directory name under which all the files and directories are considered to be the counter-part of an item under the Repository Path.

Repository Path

URL pointing to a repository for the SCC of you choice. The selector button let you choose amongst any active SCC tool, the dialog box composes a URL for you which points to the repository.

For example:

• mapping: C:\DEV\CURRENT to: svn://server/root/branches/1.1
• will match: C:\DEV\CURRENT\MODULE\myfile.cpp with svn://server/root/branches/1.1/MODULE/myfile.cpp
